Para un día de huelga como hoy, lo más bonito que me ha podido pasar es que mis alumnos me han escrito a través de whatsapp...¡en latín!

Geocaching con una frase latina

En nuestro Grupo Comenius queremos que los alumnos participen en una actividad común. Y esto es lo que ha salido:

Well, It's time to work together again , isn't it? so we, teachers, are proposing a new (and funny) activity: Geocaching!!!

Please, pay attention:

• First of all, Introduce you writing on the wall of pupils from other countries. You have to make a team with pupils from Catania, Bari, Yalova, Oettingen and Montijo.
• Secondly, look for a GPS. You will need it! In these coordinates you will find an inscription (or similar). Follow the instructions and get the LATIN WORD:

Frases latinas

Los alumnos de Segundo de Bachillerato han estado haciendo videos sobre frases latinas, practicando al mismo tiempo su inglés. He aquí una muestra de los resultados, tan brillantes como los alumnos.

Dicciogriego

Como sabéis, hace un tiempo nuestro amigo José Ciordia propuso traducir el Liddell. Hoy, después de su renuncia, una serie de profesores hemos retomado el proyecto con ganas de hacerlo realidad: un diccionario griego- español, en el que podemos colaborar todos, útil para alumnos de bachillerato y de universidad...

La Raya Romana

Los romanos no entendieron de fronteras por aquí, y las que trazamos luego no deben ser un obstáculo para conocernos nosotros, extremeños y alentejanos, españoles y portugueses.
Por eso nuestros alumnos deben hacer trabajos de este tipo, en nuestro caso utilizando una site en google, para que la Raya solo sea eso, solamente una raya.

¡Feliz Navidad!

Aparte de cantar villancicos en latín (y de traducir Adestes Fideles o el famoso sed vide quomodo bibunt pisces in fluvio) también podemos enviarnos unos a los otros tarjetas de Navidad. Tan sencillo como ofrecerles frases en latín (Natale hilare et Annum novum) y buscar por Internet las imagenes más navideñas. Con editores de fotos online tales como Phixr, Picnic, FotoFlexer etc, es fácil añadirle el texto... y hacer otras maravillas.

¿Qué hago con un google maps?

Se pueden hacer muchas cosas. Por ejemplo, puedes hacer un ejercicio colaborativo en el que los alumnos marquen los lugares donde se encuentran monumentos romanos y neoclásicos.
O contar un mito y que los alumnos vayan averigüando dónde sucedió el siguiente capítulo...

The History: First Act

As you know, Jupiter has fallen in love with Europe, a beatiful and foenician woman of high lineage. So he has decided to seduce her.
